Absolutely. We are honest, transparent and trustworthy; all customer information is confidential. We would never pass on customer information to third parties.

Are your artworks original?
They sure are. We were the first to create artwork in this way. All of our cut-out designs are registered with the Intellectual Property Office and all of our artworks are protected by Copyright.
Beware of imitations - they're never as good as the real deal. If you're buying a cut-out artwork - make sure it's a Bertie & Jack, the original cut-out design company.
Do you support/work with a charity?
Yes, we are proud supporters and volunteers at Mentoring Plus, a Bath based charity which trains and supports adult volunteers to mentor 12 – 21 year olds needing extra support with family, education, emotional needs and employability.
During 2015 we worked with a group of young people from Mentoring Plus to create a series of surface patterns. We've selected one of the patterns to be sold on our website: 'Flower Power 148'. We’ve pledged to donate 10% of sales generated from this pattern to Mentoring Plus.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
You're in luck! We currently include Bertie & Jack branded gift boxes with our Mini, Small and Medium framed artworks. This means the artwork is ready-to-give to the lucky recipient - no wrapping required!
Gift box colours vary - but don't sweat it, they all look lush!
How do I specify a map location to be used with the artwork?
If you've selected a Bertie & Jack map for your design and would like to specify a location, take a look at our maps first, just to double check the location you'd like included is shown clearly on the map. Then, when you order, enter the location in the 'Map Location' box.
How can I pay for my design?
We do not take your payment details on the Bertie & Jack website but payment is accepted via the Paypal website which is a secure payment processor; it’s convenient, safe and easy to use. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
I don't have a PayPal account, can I still order?
Yes, you can sign in as a guest using your credit or debit card.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to deliver within 3-5 working days. We try our best to get orders out as quickly as possible but hey, you can’t rush perfection. If you need your order sent super speedily, drop us an email and we’ll do our very best to help out.
How are the orders sent?
We use a courier service for framed artworks and Royal Mail for unframed mounts sent within Great Britain.
If you are likely to be out, please email us with any further delivery instructions, such as a safe place to leave the parcel or ideally, the address of a neighbour your order can be left with. A further option is to supply an alternative delivery address, for example a work address.
If you have ordered a framed artwork, you’ll receive an email or text message from our courier, giving details of when your order will be delivered.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery within mainland Great Britain (England, Scotland & Wales) is included in the price – boom!
Do you ship outside of Great Britain?
Yes, we ship within Europe. If you live further afield, drop us an email and we’ll be happy to quote on shipping costs for you.
We try to keep our European shipping prices as low and simple as possible and charge a flat rate of £18 per order.
Will I have to pay import duties?
Artworks are sold on an unpaid delivery duty basis. This means the recipient may have to pay any customs taxes or duties at time of delivery – best to check local legislation rules.
Will my design look exactly like the example shown on the website?
We use the same background print/s as shown on the product page - the only variation will be the section of the print used. This keeps each piece individual and unique.
We use a really good quality plexiglass, rather than glass, for our website products; this keeps the artwork safe in transit.
What if I'm unhappy with my order?
We'd be surprised! As each piece is made to order, we are unable to offer refunds and exchanges, unless the artwork has arrived damaged. If your order has arrived damaged - drop us an email with your order number and ideally, a photograph showing the damage and we'll arrange for a replacement artwork to be sent.
Is the frame included in the price?
Yes, prices quoted include the frame, unless otherwise stated.
Can I buy the mount only and not the frame?
Yes, many of our pieces are available to buy unframed - check out each product for the options available.
Where does the personal message go?
The personal message is handwritten on the bottom left of the artwork. This is your chance to truly personalise the piece. You might include a name, date, a few words of romance, or just a simple Happy Birthday!
The personal message is in addition to the artwork title and Bertie & Jack signature.

Where can I view all the available background prints/swatch options?
All of our background prints (designed by the team here at Bertie & Jack) can be previewed behind our cut-out designs. Just choose your preferred cut-out and select a print from the drop down tab on the right hand side of the product page. Bespoke designs and commissions
We're sorry, but we're so busy with the market stall, website, events - oh and looking after our children, that we can no longer offer bespoke pieces.
How about gift tags? They're nice.
When you check-out, you'll be given the option to let the lucky recipient know who the gift is from, via our team of 'Positive Messengers'. We'll write your message on one of our positives - they're just like a gift tag, but cuter! All part of the service.
